FREE hangtags for a 5 minute chocolate cake

HomemadeHappiness5MinuteCake

One of the best things of being a WAHM is that I can choose not to work when something special comes up. Something special like a sunny day in the park and a picknick with a bunch of lovely people! And one of the things that comes with running Homemade Happiness, is that you are obviously expected to bring something homemade & happy to the party…

I’m not really your typical domestic goddess, but hey, what I lack in baking skills, I make up in surfing on the web. And that’s exactly where I found a recipe for The Better 5 Minute Chocolate Cake in a Mug!

Of course I had to run to a couple of thrift shops to buy me 10 (!) lovely Delft Blue cups. Then I asked my little bro to bake the cakes for me. In the meantime (5 minutes, honestly) I designed a matching hang tag. Easy does it!

I was really impressed with the cakes, though I admit I put some extra pure chocolate topping on it, which made the cakes a little more moist. Extra yummie! And s you can see, the cakes where a big hit – at least 3 year old Anais was enjoying them ;-)

— Have a party coming up? Or feeling down a little? Go here and bake some cake. A little tip: when you use cute little cups like I did instead of big mugs, you should use half the ingredients as well! —

here you’ll find Jamie Oliver’s recipe for chocolate topping (I left out the sugar and replaced the cream with milk)—

— Wanna put the nice hang tags on them to make it even more fancy? Download them at our Free Goodies, here! There’s 9 of them on 1 sheet of paper (US Letter/A4) and they come with a cute but hungry caterpillar-patterned backside —
